People are boasting in their principles and using God as an excuse to not vote for Donald Trump because he has flaws and made moral mistakes during his life. As if that would preclude the possibility that God had chosen Trump for this time.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28 (KJV)
Notice it doesn’t say “And we know good things work together.” No, it says “And we know that all things work together.” Meaning that God can use bad things and bad people to accomplish good. I’m not saying Trump is a bad person, but the ones going on about “muh principles” sure do. But keep in mind Romans was written by none other than the Apostle Paul. Paul was formerly known as Saul and feared by Christians far and wide.
And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison.
Acts 8:1-3 (KJV)
I’d say consenting unto Stephen’s death, persecuting the church, and dragging Christians off to prison is worse than anything Trump has ever even been accused of doing. But God somehow found a way to use him according to his purpose.
Yet people proclaim “muh principles” and would enable an evil women who consents unto the death of the unborn, and empowered the monsters in Syria and Libya who are committing violence against Christians. She even wants to bring them into the US. Never mind how she’ll stack the Supreme Court.
Voting for an imperfect person is better than enabling an evil person, Christians should know in their hearts that stopping evil is doing good, even if someone imperfect is the means by which that is accomplished.
We have plenty of examples in the bible of people who did wrong yet were still used by God to accomplish his will. Moses murdered an Egyptian before being used to lead the Children of Israel out of bondage. During his reign as one of the greatest Kings of Israel, David lusted after a woman and had her husband killed so he could take her. God gave great wisdom unto King Solomon to rule Israel despite knowing he would turn from him and built alters unto other gods.
By refusing to vote for a man who will oppose evil and the one world government which was prophesied in the end-times, will you pretend to be better than God? While he used imperfect people to accomplish his will, are you so much more righteous than He that you reject to vote for a man who is imperfect?
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
James 4:14-17 (KJV)
So go ahead, keep boasting about “muh principles” with your smug self-righteous satisfaction while you enable evil. As for me and my house, we are voting Trump. And they all said “Amen”.
